About Edrei

Edrei completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Macquarie University. She works with clients across the life span in both private practice and public health. Edrei has a particular interest in the challenges of difference and diversity in society, and the importance of creating our own life story.

She works with passion and determination to help people improve self-awareness, tolerate difficult emotions, communicate effectively, and develop strong boundaries. Her goal is to support others to find meaning and accomplish value-driven goals. She works in partnership with her clients whether it be through through grief, anxiety, depression, relationship and family issues, trauma, or the fear of uncertainty.

Edrei employs evidence-based approaches (CBT, CFT, ACT, DBT, and Schema Therapy) to guide and equip her clients for well-being and resilient mental health. She comes from a compassion-focused, solution-oriented, strengths-based, and mindfulness perspective. However, her approach is always tailored to each person’s specific needs and values.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, Edrei worked for 20 years in the music, film, TV, and book publishing industries. She has a particular affinity for the creative spirit, and the balance to be struck between the private creative journey and a public profile.
